Ross Royce will be performing at the prestigious,
South
by South West Music Festival in Austin Texas, March 2009.
Ross takes the stage along side some of the world's best major
and indie artists of today. The Ross Royce song Mrs.Vain is
featured on the U.S compilation album Riot on Sunset Vol.4,
which has just been released across California!! Also the Ross
Royce song Mixed up World will be featured on another U.S compilation
Warped Indie Sampler Vol.7.
The video clips for the Ross Royce song's Mrs.Vain and Mixed
up World were featured on the Australian Channel Nine music
show "The Music Jungle". Also Ross Royce was featured
on the Channel 31 music reality show "Musicbiz". Picked
fom over 100 artists the show "featured" the Ross
Royce classic " Mixed Up World " which also made it's
way to "Song Of The Week" on www.mp3.com.au .
In other news Ross Royce has been hovering around the Top 5
in the myspace 'Garage' top artists chart, and reaches
one Million hits on myspace site!!

signs Jo Kelly Stephenson. Eloise Nolan, Head of ABC Publishing,
was interested in hearing more after the title I See Flowers,
You See Cars captured her interest while reading a review of the
album. Jo Kelly is looking forward to working with ABC who already
represent popular songwriters like The Audreys, Sara Storer, The
Wilson Pickers and Andy Cowan.
Julien Wilson Jazz Artist of the Year
Melbourne saxophonist and composer Julien Wilson was last night
named Australian Jazz Artist of the Year before a large jazz gathering
at Federation Square's BMW Edge.
Deputy Prime Minister Julia Gillard and Prime Minister Kevin Rudd's
wife, Therese Rein, attended the announcement of the 2008 Australian
Bell Awards.
The event was followed by a gala dinner at which Ms Gillard officially
launched this week's Melbourne Jazz Festival.
Wilson is a previous winner of the Wangaratta National Jazz Award
and of a New England Conservatory scholarship in the United States.
He leads his own groups and performs with the Australian Art Orchestra,
Ishish, Murphy's Law and SNAG" The trio was
also a finalist for Australian Jazz Ensemble of the Year
Adam Simmons Adam Simmons and The
Toy Band is going to be on Spicks and Specks again - Sunday
16th Dec, 7:30pm on ABC TV - they are the house band for the night.
Rehearsal Studio Closure After 13 years of operations in
West Melbourne the Rehearsal Studios closed in October. We would
like to take this opportunity to thank all the bands and artists
that used the studios over the years for their support.
Even though the rehearsal studios have closed and we have closed
the office in Roden St it is still business as usual for all of
our other operations, just at a new location. The distribution
and recording studio is now operating from Woodend and the CD
replication and Graphic Design from Hoppers Crossing. Please check

Broadjam Joe Bonamassa Blues Competition with his song Way Down
Homeless Blues, and to Jessica Paige who was recently announced
