SOUND OF THE MORNING STAR Cat# SV0215 I sent a collection of recordings of traditional West Papuan songs with explanations of their meanings, together with recordings of general village ambience, news reports and interviews with prominent West Papuan social affairs commentators to ten of Australia's leading electronica, remix and soundscape artists. the brief was to draw sympathetically from all these elements, to create something special for a compilation CD to raise money for West Papua.
