Born in Melbourne, Australia, Rosie Burgess bought herself
a guitar at 17 and started pouring out songs in her own stand-out, original
style.
In 1999 rosie wrote & recorded her first E.P. "rock my world".
Since that time she has recorded another three albums, released on her
label "payne street records", and travelled the world playing
in folk & live music venues, for appreciative audiences around the
globe.
"viewed (though a little distracted)", is rosie's latest,
and first full length, album available for commercial release. Distributed
through Sound Vault Records, it is available for purchase at all good
record stores.
This album is a quirky collection of songs written over the last year
and recorded in her livingroom in Melbourne. rosie's music flows straight
from the heart and blood - at times edgy and intense, at times raw and
beautiful, it is always original and gripping.
Rosie is currently playing gigs around Australia - probably in a bar
near you.
