A limited release, New Blood's second CD comes from their tour to Poland
in 2000. A trio of screeching saxophones and pounding drums, this owes
as much to Naked City, bucketrider and Henry Rollins as it does to Ornette
Coleman, Mark Simmons and John Coltrane. Heavily structured yet rough
and free in spirit!!
This CD is being released to coincide with concerts as part of the Valley
Jazz Festival (Brisbane) and the Melbourne Jazz Fringe festival. A new
studio recording will be made after these gigs with a release planned
for late 2007.
