As with Hey Gringo's previous highly acclaimed albums "Live From The Vault" is a celebration of Oz Rock influences, with a retro edge, thought provoking lyrics delivered tongue in cheek style with the freshness of NOW.

Formed around 1995 by multi instrumentalist, singer/songwriter Daryl Roberts to perform original music inspired by the Oz bands of the 70s and with a touch of the influences of Little Feat, The Band, Steppenwolf, Funk Brothers, Rolling Stones, Canned Heat & Frank Zappa. Their music is tongue in cheek but thought provoking and always highly danceable. Their forays into Funk, Retro Oz, Blues, RnB, Soul, Acid Country, Rock and Roots indicate the good time, limitless, genuine vibe of the band.

Hey Gringo's members have performed in bands with such artists as Paul Kelly's Stormwater Boys & The Dots, American Blues Legend- Jimmy Witherspoon, Colin Hey, Spectrum, Broderick Smith, Archie Roach, Gerry Hale's Uncle Bill, Matt Corcoran, Fingerprint, Frankie Holden & Wilbur Wilde's On The Prowl, Men @ Work, Bachelors From Prague, Joe Camelleri, The Hot Club, The Hornets and many more.

It's been a great year with the release of our third album "three" which is getting airplay all over Oz and as far as Belgium, Poland, Canada, Argentina & Germany. Available in all good music stores and via the internet through Soundvault Records.

Wont Let You Down has been picked up to be played on Neighbours Oz & Worldwide next year.

Get Behind Yer Roots has kicked off the Roots Music Co-op to raise the profile of Melb Roots Music Scene. Filmed to be shown on Channel 31 in January.

Gringo's rocked the Narooma Festival gaining heaps of acclaim and building the growing following of Hey gringo fans.
